I think the biggest legacy of farming is NOT dirt….. it is the values and work ethic that are instilled in the succeeding generation. All 5 siblings /current heirs of the trust appeared to have done well in work/life. The current brother farming has 2 offspring making (maybe assuming here) a very good living in career/corporate positions.
The farm “turned out” better replacements than it started with. In this farm’s case, that is what “true legacy” is all about. | |
