| I think they had to "do something" or headlines would be "30% of farmers can`t get operating money!!!" . I know 1/4 or 1/3 or neighbors going broke might "provide opportunities" however as grandma used to say "don`t dig someone`s grave or you might fall in it yourself" . for "this year" dropping the insurance windfall bomb on us at this time of year. the money might be a little more sticky in the farmer`s pocket as the land is either owned by farmer or rents have been agreed upon, inputs are high and weren`t going down this season. which leaves me once again saying " I think we`ll be alright this year, it`s next year i`m worried about" :-) | |
