Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska		You pegged it exactly right. The west needs above average moisture to get above average yields. The east needs below average moisture to get above average yields. Several on here have said they do better if they’re on the dry side. You don’t hear that from us western guys.
Of course, timing is everything no mater where you live.
