Hey now...........I represent that remark!

Went to a Sorghum meeting yesterday.........and KSU's Dan Obrien presented some marketing info. First off he showed how the corn belt was WAY behind on moisture. Then he showed how the Milo belt.........which includes us in the west, and mostly Kansas, down into northern TX was wet. I made the comment to him that wet for here was not very wet, and dry for the corn belt was probably just what they want. The Milo belt could always use above moisture............and in fact NEEDS average moisture to produce average yields. The corn belt can produce record yields on less than average moisture. True fact. They normally receive 150% of the moisture needed to achieve maximum yields.
