Central MO | Subsidy being helpful for the farmer assumes the non subsidized price is real. It assumes the non subsidized price is what the insurance companies true cost of lets say “break even plus make a percentage going to profit.”
Reality is the numbers are made up and grossly inflated. Its the same as buying something on sale for 40% off. Its not 40% off, thats the price they target and it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside that you saved money. | |
