McCanna, ND		I haven’t read your whole post yet. I keep it simple.

Planned yield goal of 6.5bu/1k plants
1:1 ratio usually at that yield goal
If yield goes up to 8bu/1k for example nitrogen efficiency will also improve.

I like simple.
