Subject: RE: Vevor Hydraulic Hose Crimper

I have avoided the Amazon fitting altogether. I feel like if I can buy good quality fitting for what I am currently, it's not worth the hassle of one broken hose. I generally check all fittings and hose I get to make sure it meets oem specs. Reason is A&I got caught early in the company's history, selling a hose that didn't meet the dimensional specs it was claimed to. So I still verify everything.

I really do think the vevor machine will work if you don't mind fiddling with it some. Watch online auctions for machines. I bought a T420 with die sets(1/4 - 1 1/4" for U series, Z series and two different 4 wire series for $950. I sold my t400, which did u series 1/4" through 1/2" for $1000. Market place is stupid expensive on crimpers but Machineryfacts, Big Iron, DPA, auctiontime are usually pretty good deals.

Here are the micrometer settings for various types of ends. When Discount Hydraulic says braided, that means the U series ends. There is another chart that I have seen that is alot more complete but I can't seem to find it right now.
