Bow Island, Alberta | I can't answer many of your questions, but I know some farmers here that have subsurface irrigation for small fields of alfalfa, and they have huge problems with mice and other critters chewing the lines underground.
We run quite a few pivots, and I would guess that our average time for maintenance and repairs is no more than an hour per week per pivot during the operating season. | |
