Northeast IN | Local ag suppliers push micropacks on starter fertilizers. Some on the more common ones are a product called corn mix by winfield at a qt to the acre in starter. If my math is right, that is only .01# copper, .04# manganese and .15# zn per acre. Are those use rates really doing anything? Should we increase use rates or drop all together? Another one is Riser by loveland. Interested in what others use for micros too. Are rates that low worth messing around with? | |
