My experience isn't current, but when I was with Deere product test, Mother Deere decided that instead of the test techs who worked out in remote locations with dealerships running on counter tickets, they should use a corp AmEx card.  Black and white, no more charging parts at the dealership then expensing it with their next report...they would use nothing but AmEx. Except none of the smaller dealerships at that time accepted AmEx, and the small town mom-n-pop motels that they usually ended up staying in (due to Mother Deere only allowing <$60/per nite) absolutely didn't do AmEx. Policy was shortly dropped.
