Agreed. We’ve been running equipment with DEF for 13 years with 2 major issues in that time (well over 30,000 engine hours)
And being able to run something in the shop for 15min without smoking yourself out is a nice noticeable perk.
That is thanks to the DPF, Diesel Particulate Filter, not DEF, which is part of the SCR system, Selective Catalyst Reduction. |
