| My most substantial DEF experience is a 2011 Steiger 400 (very first of the Tier IVa Steigers) that Dad bought new and then I bought it from him.
It had some $50 problem 50 hours in. Then was trouble free do the next 7,000 or so hours.
There is some fairly expensive stainless steel tube that developed a hole in it about that time. I did end up deleting it after that. I don’t know. 7,000 essentially problem free hours didn’t seem too bad to me for the first attempt by Case. Still have that thing with over 9,000 hours on it. It did all the drilling last fall pulling a 50’ JD 1910 drill. | |
