Could you get any more dramatic? I have a number of diesel engines from the 90’s thru 2000’s and get along fine and probably going to last longer than my newer ones. There is a reason fleets are getting rid of trucks when they get 300,000- 400,000 miles

And I didn’t say anything about keeping tier 3


Just pointing out the obvious. You did say before def way cleaner and efficient well tier 3 was before so. Or are we talking going back to an old 400 Cummins? I remember those shops that looked like a black dungeon. Not being dramatic just realistic. Gotta keep you guys in check.



HPCR injection engines without EGR are clean running, and keep the oil clean. Not afraid to run them in our shop if necessary. No EGR, no DPF, or DEF. We have several like that, we like those.

Even a good running Cat E model engine from back in the nineties, and the C15 engines in the early/mid 2000's can be run for a while in our shop without running you out.

Not as clean burning as the Common Rail engines though, but not bad.

Now the 4020 is a little different story, LOL.
