My 9170 almost burned to the ground last spring. Brake caliper stuck and was dragging. Course you can't feel that while it's pulling. Boiled the brake fluid. Got hot enough to melt the plastic sender off the bottom of the master cylinder that sits right above it. Drained every drop in 2 seconds on the hot rotor and poof! 4' flames! Mad scramble to beat it out with a coat and pack of chore gloves.
I'd be very careful with sticking half seized up brakes!
Yeah, Ive got a big truck back up beeper on the park brake lever. It worked great until the switch quit one day. You want to know how I found out the switch quit? Half a tank of NH3 later I had a burning brake lol |
