I wanted to try AI  (artificial intelligence) to plan a road trip.

I gave it multiple parameters and it failed miserably.

I wanted to travel from Iowa to Washington in 3 days.  I wanted to stay in motels that cost less than $125 a night. The vehicle should get about 28 mpg, according to the onboard computer a full tank will go 359 miles.  I don't feel comfortable going beyond about 315 miles when traveling out west.  Given my and my wife's age we probably can't go that far before stopping and stretching our legs or using the restroom.

I gave 2 different AI's this information and Google could have done as well, maybe better.
