| Not sure I am completely clear on the question. Original question I believe was LP vs NG. Need to calculate the true BTU cost. NG cost very by season. Dropping in a transport load of LP is likely the cheapest. Will it be used for other buildings?
Three phase needs to considered. Need to run to farmstead? Demand charges that basically give you free electric much of the rest of the year.
How limiting are frost laws?
How and who will monitor the system, be it in the Fall or the rest of the year? Theft and aeration? Checked with insurance?
In light of recent weather, snow removal, ice control? Going to park a tractor there. Prepared to move equipment and tools as needed?
Have seen several people locate systems remotely. Big investment and most say they would not do it again | |
