Put your fertilizer on when you plant. 2X2X2 is best , or 2X2. The top yield winners always put most of their fertilizer on with the planter. This is the first thing Randy Dawdy tells you in his seminars. Been doing this for 30 years. Increases yields 8-12 BPA every year. Only thing that comes close is planting right over strips put down the fall before. You can use one-third less nutrients and get same or better yields. Fertilizer placement and timing is the most important to add to a corn planter. | |
