Do it yourself or be leasing or renting it. Person can’t own something and hire repairs/ maintenance any more.

We all balk at paying a third more for gas, or if your land rent went up from $250 to $350 in a year, or if a renter would offer you $250 rent down from $350 rent.
If 200 was fair last month, 300 seems to be a lot more this month. I’m sure your costs have stairsteped up over time, but you are making a sudden adjustment to that.
Then I didn’t look at the new structure of your billing, can it escalate rapidly on some jobs now compared to what it used to be, that could be a concern also.
It’s just a lot to absorb. It might match your cost of doing business and be fair, but if it doesn’t match his income over other expenses at the moment it can’t look fair from his side.
