We have 4 now. All LP.

I have 3 in the shop heating the floor and the newest one in my house.

They've been reliable. The oldest is iirc 3 years old now and runs almost constantly when the temp is below 30. It's throwing a code for a neutralizer, I need to get it ordered, but it still works.

I had trouble at first with supply issues in the shop, but that's been fixed.

The newest one at my house is wonderful. I upgraded the house to 3/4" pipe as well as I added a loop pump to the farthest end, my kitchen. It's powered by the heater, and can be set to run on a schedule. When it's on, it's 5 seconds of water before you feel warm water, full hot in 10 seconds. I love it. I have double controls in the shower, I can run both of them and either the dishwasher or clothes washer and still have good hot water in the shower... Forever, it never runs out.

The shop used to have a pair of hot water heaters and they inhaled lp compared to the much higher btu tankless that replaced them. Iirc it's 200k btu that the 2 tank style heaters were to 600k btu from the 3 tankless. The 3 tankless burn 1/4 to 1/3 the lp the 2 tank style did.

A huge difference.

I'm sold on them.
