East Central South Dakota | Selling into different markets with different freight costs. Shuttle loaders mostly sell into export markets, not domestic. The export market is flooded with corn right now so basis at ports is weak. Until the world customer has to bid up basis to originate corn, basis will continue to be weak. PNW basis bid minus the tariff from railroad minus the freight cost minus your operating margin should be close to your cash bid locally.
