Please look at soybean prices correlated with dates and I believe you will see the “bump” in beans starting the last week of October ( which must be your higher than a year ago claim) and the over dollar decrease since only November 18th both relate to the same subject of tariffs/ China. 
Not to mention all inputs have gone up as well! For you youngsters out there, to stay in business,you need to go off NET…. NOT GROSS!!
