| My 2 cents worth on the subject of gold, silver, and commodities in general is that as scarce as we are lead to believe they are, it seems a run up in prices lead to “awesome new finds”. New mines open, new methods of recovery, then poof all of sudden no more shortages and prices slump back. Betting on precious metals is the ultimate bet against the dollar, and paper currencies in general. Hasn’t worked too well in the past, maybe this time it’ll be different ***? | |
