Yep, Pure corn juice is 113 octane….10% added to 85% octane gas makes 87% and theres blender credits….
Can't picture the oil cartels sitting in the board room saying "what we need is more ethanol", but you sound like you know a lot more about it than me. They can make that gas any octane they want. But then again, they sell oil, not gas.
