Garden City Ks | My dad’s uncle bought 3 quarters in Greeley County Ks in 1954. Cut the wheat and they were paid for. Some jewelers from Philadelphia had bought and were sick of owning them. I guess as the country and economy matured the wealth was transferred into owning the land instead of the grain it produced. | |
