Thats all these assets are, a short on the currency, by people who mostly don't need to borrow anything to buy. Silver doubled this year and gold not far behind. Neither pay a dividend. Both are taxed unfavorably vs land if you sell. Neither feed you during a doomsday event. I'll take the land. Just bought a qtr that hadn't sold in over 100 years. Hopefully it won't sell again for another 100. | |
