No one really knows how brutal the 80's were unless you lived it.
The memories of the 80's has probably cost me some opportunities in my hesitancy to become overleveraged.
The cold hard reality is, if you’re of that age now, and don’t already have a very good land base, or equities position, I’m sorry, but you’re on the outside looking in. Now is a very poor time trying to play catch up. You literally could die penniless.(equities more so than land) Take what you have and accept the guaranteed returns options that are available to you and watch your nickels and dimes,, and you’ll most likely make to the finish line with your hide still intact.
