Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Advice from an AgTalk member "I have some extra $ where to invest what stock" was my question
Part of the advice was Rocket Lab probably been a year or so back
I bought 500 shares for about $2500 --sold 70 shares while back for $2500 so I have nothing in 430 shares worth $26,000
I'm mostly in mutual funds --Schwab, Fidelity, and Vanguard easy to just put money in and let the low fee money managers take care of every thing
Only been faced with such a big run up in an individual stock one time "Fifth Third bank stock" VERY long story took years but ended up OK
Don't need the money --71 years old with no needs or wants --My log term goals mind set ran out a few years back
Now just thinking about the next generation
SO when do YOU decide to move on I have no idea where I'd stick the money "probably a low fee mutual"
Low fee mutuals are not exciting but with compounding they really add up -
