| The new v-opener on a Kinze is 15 inch. I pair a worn 14.5 inch with a new 15 inch. Use shims to “tuck” the smaller one in behind the new one. This gives a single disc to cut through residue better, whereas the matched set of double discs seem to hairpin trash into the seed trench. I have been using this technique for over 20 years. | |
