| I have found that the coulter will keep the unit from penetrating when conditions get a little too dry, and can pull dirt out of the path of the seed openers if it's a little wet and sticky. Yes the openers will have a shorter life but the savings from uniformity, depth and spacing will be greater. I believe yetter row cleaners may save the issues you are having as well, never had great luck with martin. | |
