| I currently run a planter with no coulter but have floating Martin wheels in front and getter twister closing wheels does, does well.
When I started farming I had a planter with a coulter and factory rubber wheels. Did poor in damp ground, fine in dry.
If I could only have one option I think I’d choose the better closing wheels over the front attachments.
I’d think if your ground is that bad though that the double disc openers won’t last long by themselves? | |
