WC MN | CS, I agree the OP has it somewhat backwards, throwing money out for showing up at FSA is inflationary because everyone gets it vs targeted programs such as CSP, EQIP, or some new sustainable ag program. From a public standpoint conservation programs make sense as results are visible and reward conservation effort. Locally it seems guys with a well oiled system of high intensity and do all fields the same tend to be opposed to many conservation efforts as it requires a targeted approach and not every field will be the same. | |
