Michigan | Yes both years here I plowed and it was December and the ground was either froze a couple inches down already or I plowed under 3-4 inches of snow. No microbial activity and by spring it was settled and washed down so really not much more oxygen in the soil by time it warmed up…. Also I think the immediate freezing really did some damage to the thistle roots and set them back a lot. | |
