NEMO | Travis, are you just perpetually in a cynical mood? Mr's T didn't put her Mrs Claus outfit on last night? Here let me explain it for you, which especially applies in MO where cow herds are small. Grandpa, or anybody kind north of 60 that has a few cows, either has farmed all their lives and has paid for land, or the hobby guy has a professional job in town. Both look good on a balance sheet 5-10 million, and any price they pay for bred heifers isn't going to hurt/kill them. Or, like in the other post, maybe a guy is selling lb cows that just weaned a calf, and they want to trade up. I don't get what you don't get | |
