SW Ohio | I've come to the conclusion the only thing a skid loader is really good for is beating up the operator! I have one, its old, and currently broke down, and it has done the jobs I have asked of it. I am starting to think its at the expense of my back though. I have 2 loader tractors (need one with MFWD, but $ is the problem) and a forklift. Wife wants a skid loader and I told her she had to pay for it and never to ask me to run it! She's now learning to love the loader tractors lol
The one exception I make, is the mini skid steers that you ride on the back. We rent one once a year (Can't afford to own for $160/day) to clean out the stalls in the barn and it is worth every penny | |
