coast of Maine | Here they(skid loaders) are the most used equipment.It is also limited as to field use at a distance.Then we use the tractors with loaders.On the farmstead it is almost always a skidloader ,on concrete its our forklift.I have use of a wheel loader loading bulk field dumped commodities and for that use it is slick.On the farm itself it wont do.The skidloader becomes an extension of your self as you get used to the controls.I have been driving one since I was 10 in 1970.I can even open doors with it,have picked up so small of items with fork tips you could hardly believe.Control come with use.55 years of using though ,,heheheh | |
