Paxton, IL | Looking at getting a couple PCM’s to go in my two planter tractors to connect to field ops and share coverage logging between the two when in the same field.
First question, is does the purchase of a new PCM with the “connectivity included” package include the ability to share coverage and guidance lines between tractors, or is that a separate cost? If separate, what is the price and is it a 1 time unlock or a subscription?
The quote I have from the dealer claims everything is included to get it done, but the limited information I’ve found online isn’t very clear about accusync.
My 2nd question is if a pcm can be moved between vehicles, or if it needs to stay tied to 1 specific machine. For instance, can I take it out of my planter tractor and put it in the combine in the fall. Obviously in that scenario only the one machine could be connected to field ops at a time, but that wouldn’t be an issue to me at this point. | |
