Considering trading in 1 or 2 pro 700's on the newer pro 700 + displays, but have read about lack of software to run certain functions. I'm sure this is getting updated periodically so I wanted to check what works today and what doesn't

I use these monitors for the following functions throughout the year in different tractors:
CIH Autosteer and Steiger tractor interface (Large tractor software, CIH flashed nav 2 and 372 receiver),
Controlling a CIH 1245 pivot split row planter
Steering and Controlling a Sprayer (Patriot 3330 with AIM, CIH autosteer, and boom control)
Yield monitor in an older 2366 combine
Yield monitor and control of a 7120 flagship combine

I have been told the new pro 700+ will currently do everything on this list except the combines (only support for 50 series combines right now). I remember reading not long ago that sprayer control wasn't available yet at that time. Can anyone confirm that it would work with the 3330 sprayer now?

I tend to move a couple displays around and also like redundancy in the ability to swap one display out for another if needed. If I upgrade to the pro 700+, does anything need to be updated on the tractor and would that affect the ability to pull the 700+ and put an older 700 back in its place if needed? (assuming they all have the appropriate software loaded)

No support for sprayers or your combines yet. Shouldn't be any issue upgrading your tractor to a 700+; there's an adapter harness that you can remove if you need to put the 700 back in for some reason.
