If that is an ISOBUS AutoTrac, you'll need a Deere tech to come out and unlock it for 3rd part steering. I'd imagine your dealer added the JD ISO Steer unlock to your Z2 kit if this is the case. Other than that, sounds like you're covered.

I use a Deere 8310R on the planter and my situation is quite similar although not 100% identical to the OP. The following pertained to me. Some of these will likely pertain to the OP as well.

I use an InCommand 1200 unlocked for multi-product. To use Ag Leader Steering (Steer Command or Steer Command Z2) through the tractor's CAN bus requires the Deere third party unlock. This needs to be done by a Deere Tech.

An unlock from Ag Leader was also required as mentioned above by the Ag Leader dealer. Auto steer is engaged by the screen icon or more conveniently with the Original Steering Engage button that came with the tractor from Deere. This is the engage switch that would be used with a Deere system. It is a special switch. No rewiring of it is necessary.

I use Ag Leader legacy modules on the planter (Clutch Control Module, Seed Tube Monitoring Module, Liquid Product Control Module for spray and an App Rate Module for monitoring Starter fertilizer). These modules are mounted on the rear of a Deere 1770NT planter with ground drive. They are connected to the InCommand display cable with a disconnect at the hitch.

I also use an Ag Leader ISO down force monitoring module which has the ISO connector on it at the hitch. My tractor has the mate for this type of connector, but it was connected to the Deere wiring harness since Deere's intention was that I would be using one of their displays. Since I am not using a Deere display, I purchased a cable from Ag Leader that reroutes that connector to the Ag Leader display cable. This cable is sometimes referred to as a "HiJack cable".

This all works together very well. We have Ag Leader's Turn Path unlocked for the steering which works well for automated turns on the Headlands.

You mention the GO 16 display. I haven't seen any features that entice me to change to it at this time. In my case it would require that I change the App Rate Module on my planter since a GO display does not support that module.
