I’m going to change my response and I know this sounds hypocritical and I am but it doesn’t change truth.
At this point in our lives I would focus on whatever give you peace joy etc. Whatever helps you enhance the fruits of the spirit in your life and those around you. Having more groind but not having peace is worthless. We have to seek FOS on purpose and it aint always easy.
When I’m confronted with a situation like your I just pray about it and I feel that if God wants me to have it, it will fall into place and be somewhat effortless. If you have to jump through a lot of hoops, have anxiety and worry about it then I think Gods saying no. Maybe this will help. Pretty good philosophy to live by,I’d say.
