Pond Creek, Oklahoma | It’s essentially a cover crop for me. Most years double crop beans will make wheat work here, at least on better soils. Planting corn into good straw cover increases the chance of having a successful crop. I’ll keep planting wheat just to be able to grow better summer crops and protect the soil. | |
