Boone Co. Iowa
When China goes from a zero purchaser to something, that means that the market is open for business. So, we should get some sales and actual purchases. So, that is gonna reduce the carry out, and that is gonna mean yield is a little more important. And, that means PNW has some demand, so they should increase basis. Which means basis should generally increase everywhere. Which means that the reduced acres of soybeans in 2025 means a little bit more.

Yield is gonna be more important, as is S. America weather.

I figure local basis improvement, better board prices, and 2026 acres fight. Plus beans don’t like to hang around 11, they prefer under 11 or over 11. Right now, they are headed to $11 in my opinion, then we wait for 2025 yield and 2026 acres and S. American weather.

I hate the market manipulation, and S. America is the big boy in the room, as far as soybeans. But we will continue to be a player and weather matters.
