Agree! The sad thing is that cattle is at a dang good profitable level and we have a government wanting to intervene to chop er back.
Why would this encourage any younger generation to take over?
Why would this encourage any producer to retain heifers knowing that we now have a government that says “Wait a minute, your profitability is too high, we need to do something about this. Why? Because I like that President of Argentina… they need help. They’re barley hanging on.”
