 | This is a typical soil test for the land I farm. I try to get over all the corn acres with cattle manure. My phosphorus levels are high enough you couldn’t talk me into it but should I buy potassium? I like to buy corn stalks when I feel they are a value but also bale mine off.
Fertilizer levels are pretty much maintaining them self and I am not worried about crop removal rates.

I own all the land I farm so I would only be screwing my self by shorting fertilizer.

Typical yield is 200 corn and 50 for beans.

Average organic matter is around 5%.

Last soil test is a field coming out of hay. Plan is to cover it with stock piled manure, dig it in and buy zero fertilizer including nitrogen. Will get side dressed if showing lack of nitrogen.

All fields going to corn will get 140 nitrogen on bean ground and 170 on corn ground.
