 You have a hard time raising corn unless you raise the trash 1st.  No stalk, no corn.
 
 I have used stalk choppers, etc. if they are worth anything the stalk, leaves, and the fertilizer and organic matter value are in the ditch or at the neighbor.
 
 Yes, there are issues. I don’t have access to a self propelled sprayer to cover everything with 28%, but that is probably the best idea, as you harvest.
 
 If you are getting hair pinning, change planters or hire someone with active hydraulic downforce and trash whippers
 
 A combination of urea and AMS seams to work best for me soon after emergence.
