NW Iowa | So I planted new grass along the road ditch near a shed on September 10th. This area had grown nothing but weeds before this. I grew the most beautiful stand of fescue/bluegrass I have seen but have a bunch of curly dock and dandelion growing along with it. Mowed it for the first time today. Can I spray trimec on it here soon to knock back the weeds and keep it clean next spring? I've always heard you are supposed to wait with newly seeded grass but I don't want any weeds getting a head start next spring. Any thoughts? | |
