Subject: Did I accidently kill all my waterways?

East Central Mo.
My seed corn man has told me I need to kill all of my winter annuals. He said henbit encourages cyst nematodes. I'm not a no-tiller. My chemical man thought 2 ounces of Valor and 12 ounces of Dicamba would hold it back until I do spring tillage. He also said if I had any grass that I should throw some Roundup in, which I don't so I didn't. The wind blew every day so the day it was finally calm, I tried to cover as many the acres as quickly as I could with my pull-type sprayer. Almost every field has at least one waterway, it usually runs diagonally in a squarish field. Since they told me I needed Roundup for the grass and I didn't use any, I supposed it would be safe and quicker to just spray through all my fescue waterways. They had all been brushcut and regrown to about a foot tall. I had one jug left over, when I returned it and paid the bill, I told them I had sprayed through waterways. They told me it would probably killed all of it. To top it off, a few of them I dressed up with a field cultivator and was planning to sow some wheat and fescue on them. Is all my fescue waterways going to die and will the wheat and fescue I'm planning to sow survive all my chemicals? My thoughts at the time was that if I needed to add Roundup to kill grass, which I didn't, that all my fescue would take it. I can't undue it...... but I'd still like to know what everyone thinks. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read this and responds, Jim
