Subject: Soybean Fertilizer following Strip Till Banding

Currently in a corn/soybean rotation. We are considering strip tilling ahead of corn but not soybeans. Currently planting 15" soybeans with conventional tillage and no-till. We usually apply dry fertilizer ahead of corn to cover by both crops. My concern is that if we band fertilizer for corn, will the soybeans next year not have a fair share of fertilizer, especially in now till where we usually plant at an angle? I guess the soybeans on corn stalks that are ripped could be planted on the same row that the corn was planted on to try and get some of that Potash and MAP from the previous year, although maybe that won't matter as much since we rip at an angle? Just wondering if we should not worry about this or if we should plan to fall apply some Potash, maybe elemental sulfur ahead of soybeans? Thank you.
