S.E. Iowa | I got a field just harvested the corn on. Have some foxtail, so i got a prod rod and in the spots where foxtail is thick I have compaction. I am wanting to go to rye then in the spring roll the rye and notil. I have cultivator ridges so I thought I'd chisel plow it and level it with a turbo till. I could inline rip it then level. Obviously I could go deeper with the ripper but would have more residue. Any thoughts? | |
