It is the best corn head if you USE THE RIGHT GREASE, you follow the service intervals and you clean it every year.
If you put the time and maintenance into them you will love it

If you want to use it, park it back in the back of the shed each year and pull it out the next year without much work or maintenance you will HATE IT.



I have run a series 2 for 4 years and love it. But totally agree with this. If all you want to do is check gearboxes at start of season and run, don't buy Drago. Not trying to scare you off, as the maintenance isn't that intense in season, but there is more maintenance than a deere. Off season maintenance takes a little time, but doesn't really bother me, as it's off season.
I feel like Drago has one of the best row unit designs. Longest stalk roll in the industry, and their knife roll design just works. So far, I think the most repairs we've had to do in season was a chain link connector and a front snoot that a pin came out and folded under.
