 Northeast Indiana | With the stalks that dead and brittle, you'll want to make sure you're taking in as little of the stalk as possible by making sure the gap between the deck plates are wider at the back of the head (nearest to the auger) than they are at the front where the stalk enters the head. This will help keep the stalk from breaking off and plugging up. Then look into the plastic paddles from Lundell to help pull in whatever trash does make it past the deck plates. | |
